Test Execution
The tests are run once the planning, analysis, design, and implementation are completed.
Test execution:
- Can be manual or automated
- Can involve continuous testing through automation (normally as part of continuous integration)
- Can include pair testing
- Compares actual to expected outcomes with results logged
- Detects and analyzes anomalies, defects and failures.
